Certified Translation Services for Immigration Documents

HMC provides professional certified translation services for immigration, legal, academic, and official documents in compliance with Canadian requirements.

Our translations are completed by certified translators affiliated with recognized professional associations, such as the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO). Certified translations are generally accepted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Canadian educational institutions, government agencies, healthcare providers, and other public and private organizations, subject to their individual requirements.

We translate a wide range of documents, including birth and marriage certificates, passports, diplomas, transcripts, police certificates, employment documents, and more.

Immigration Translation Requirements in Canada 

For Canadian immigration applications, any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

    • a complete certified translation; and
    • a copy of the original document or a certified copy, as required by IRCC.

Translations must accurately reflect the original document, including stamps, seals, signatures, and official markings.

Secure Digital Certified Translations

HMC also supports ATIO’s new digital e-stamp system, which enables secure electronic verification of certified translations through QR codes and digital authentication methods, while traditional stamped hard copies remain valid and accepted.

Please email clear scanned copies of your documents, preferably in PDF format, to: translations@hmcanada.ca

Digital certified copies can be delivered electronically, and printed copies may also be shipped securely upon request.
