Certified Translation Services

We provide ATIO Certified Translation Services (Tamil to English).

ATIO is the first translators’ association in the world whose certified members are deemed professionals by law. In February 1989 the Province of Ontario granted a reserved title for certified members of ATIO through the Association of Translators and Interpreters Act, 1989. The Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO) is a Member Association of the Canadian Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters Council (CTTIC).

Foreign documents for official purposes within Canada require a Certified Translation if not issued in English or French. In Canada, one of the major member bodies in charge of certifying and regulating translators is ATIO.

There are several situations where ATIO/CTTIC Certified translation services are required to meet the Canadian Federal and Provincial requirements. Some common scenarios include (but not limited to):

    1. Immigration: When applying for a visa, permanent residency, or citizenship, you must provide certified translations of essential documents, such as birth certificatesmarriage certificates, and police clearance certificates.
    2. Academic Affairs: If you are applying to a Canadian University or College, you may need to submit certified translations of your transcripts, diplomas, and other relevant academic records.
    3. Legal Documents: In court proceedings and other legal processes, certified translations of documents such as contractsaffidavits, and witness statements are often required to ensure their validity and credibility.
    4. Employment: When seeking employment in Canada, you may need to provide certified translations of your employment history, references, and qualifications to prospective employers.
    5. Medical and Insurance: In cases where you need to present medical records or insurance documents, certified translations may be necessary to ensure that the information is accurate and easily understood by all parties involved.
